If you are fan of TED, a site full of inspiration videos, then you surely going to like TED Downloader. You can download videos through the main website but it won’t give you the customization option the TED Downloader provide you. TED Downloader also allow you to download more than one video at a time unlike the original TED site which limit it to one.
So, how to download TED videos using TED Downloader? Just follow the self interpreted TED Downloader window. Here is something that may help you too.
Take a look what TED Downloader will offer you. The video downloader allow you to download a video in three different quality – low, regular and high. Obviously, the higher the quality is, the more time it will take to download the video.
By clicking on blue ‘P’ button, you can add proxy to hide your ip.
You then need to add download folder where you willing to download TED videos. It’s easy, just click on ‘Browse’ button and select the destination folder. You need to select the folder first in order to make ‘Get TED Talk’ function work.
To get video titles, click on ‘Update Links’ button. It will list up all videos that are available on TED website. Each video has following attribute – video title, event name, date and duration. With TED downloader, you can easily find and downloader videos that are uploaded in back 2006. Amazing!
Choose videos that you willing to download and then click on ‘Get TED Talks’. Now sit back and allow downloader to download your selected videos.
One thing I seriously missing here is, pause button. I hope developer will add it in next version.
Another good function is ‘Export The Links’. TED Downloader is generous enough to allow you to export the download paths in a text file, if you want to use a different download manager. This is a feature that very few downloader give you.
