Autorun Angel is a tool for controlling Windows startup sections in order to provide security for your computer. Angel allows you to control software, drivers and various components launched automatically

Unfortunately most average computer users don’t care much about autorun programs. They don’t care what drivers, programs and other various object load automatically on the start of the Windows. This now only slow down the performance of the operating system but can be a security threat.

That’s why a tool like Autorun Angel is much helpful. It’s not going to replace your antivirus program but help you to identify malicious process when your anti-virus fail. Most traditional antivirus works via a blacklist approach, identifying known bad files and responding accordingly where Autorun Angel whitelisting, identifies all known good items, and can identify malware.

Using Autorun Angel is easy. After installing this small utility, open the program. Then hit the Scan button located middle of the active window. It will then scan all running processes and list out all unknown program that using your memory and load during start of the window. If you want to see both known and unknown processes then uncheck Hide SAFE Files.

Remember this program made for identifying suspicious program that load during startup but it can’t remove it. It shows the full path of the file, so that you can identify which program or process using it.
