6 Ways to browse the internet securely
Securing your browsing is most important part over the Internet this day. Anytime any site can catch you and harm you. A celebrity site can go hack and then your visit will help the hacker to still your personal information. Sometime hacker traces you through ip and use it for illegal purpose so it is better to remove your foot step from their log. There are many ways to secure yourself on net. I just trying to index them according to my knowledge.
1. WOT – It stand for Web Of Trust. You can get help in two way. You can find the rating of the page you want to visit using there site search feature or you can use there addon in your browser to understand link rating instantly.
2. LinkScanner – Link scanner help you to scan site which you want to visit and so the report if that site content any malicious code or not.
3. Trusteer – This site help you to find is the site you want to visit is targeted by malware or not.
4. Antivirus – Some antivirus come with link scanner and Avast is one of them. It is free for personal use. So use this software to protect yourself from malicious site. If you don’t like Avast antivirus then try to get any other antivirus which come with link scanner.
5. Filter Searches – Filtering your search will help you lot to secure you and your machine. Most good search engines come with preference setting; use it and choose strict filtering.
6. Use Proxy – Use proxy to stay anonymous from hacker. An elite hacker might catch you but it hard for hacker to trace your original ip when you use proxy. Proxy masks your ip. You can find a good number of proxy lists on Free Proxy Site.
It is better not to visit warez and adult site or any site where you can get anything easily than it is actually in our naked eye. Always follow above steps to protect you more than you are.
