Now you can use multiple method while saving. Like real life money saving plan, here you too need a smarter brain. You can use MS Excel or any other similar tool to save your data or you can use a specially created software for this purpose. To me second option is best.

1. Wordopedia – Very user friendly lightweight tiny utility which help you to build your own dictionary. The only complaining thing is the definition window while adding new word look very tiny and uncomfortable for eye. Another impressive thing about this software is you don’t need to install anything. Just run the software.

2. Lyu Andguage – A very impressive own dictionary creation tool. Easy to save and easy to navigate. Just install this utility and build your own dictionary. A dictionary contains only those word which you recently learn. It also allows to test your vocabulary through its testing interface.

I use second one. There may be many freeware out in the internet for this purpose. So, Which one is your favorite?
