Tips to connect 6 IM service without installation
Too much software means too much registry problem. And you need to optimize it often. Not only that it can bring malicious software with it. So it’s better to get connected without any installation. There are some service like Gmail which allow you to chat directly from browser. Think how will be it is if you able to connect all your IM service from a single place without installing any software.
The new launched website imo.im, co-founded by ex-Googler George Harik allow you to connect all 6 major IM service i.e. AIM, MSN, Gtalk, MySpace, Yahoo, ICQ, Jabber
I must say it is an excellent idea. I just able to connect by yahoo friend after long time without installing yahoo massenger.The service is on alpha stage but, yet very effective. You can use voice and video chat too. So use it and give a comment.
