5 Free Twitter clients for Google G1 and Android mobile smartphone

After releasing my article on twitter client for Windows and Mac I have been asked several time to list some clients name which work fine with Google Android. So I tried to make a list for twitter lover who really want it in their Android mobile. I know there is an easy way to get connected with you favorite social service twitter using your phone number. This list is for those who want to use more smarter way to get connected. So here is the list:

Twidroid : Perhaps most popular twitter application for Android phone. It has a huge range of feature including SSL connection, Laconi.ca support and photo posting feature. Also it support native url-shortening. The huge range of feature it support make it the post popular client.

Twitli : Almost have all feature like Twidroid but using less button on page. The idea is you will see the button when you actually need it. It uses Google Translation to help user to read different language.

Twitta : It is another good application in the list. It shows your latest twitter stream on top and dialog for twitting on the bottom. You can do all the basic thing which you can do in Twitter.

Twit2Go : Another twitter client for your Android mobile. However, after asking some tech geek I realize this tool should work on its user interface. You need to find thing when you need something instead of getting it in front of the eye. This is only the minus point I found.

Droid Twitter : This may be most useless Android client. It has everything but what make it terrible is it interface. It uses ads in footer which make it slow to work. So I don’t like to recommend it when we have very good alternative.
