Are you aware of Rogue Antispyware vulnerability?
There are many false positive antivirus out there. Many people who don’t have proper knowledge about internet caught by this agency. This actually not much harmful like a virus but make your working experience terrible. Usually it come with software which you download from insecure and unknown source.
How it Work?
Their intention varies on the creator group. The main purpose of this type of software is to sale product. They often packed it with a new name so it’s hard to determine. However they use the same signature usually so any good antivirus can catch them. They give false positive information on victim window and it will stay till you not buy a license or remove it using proper software. Windows build in uninstaller will not going to help you.
Spreading Tactic
I already point that it spread with well known software downloaded from unsecured source. However some legitimate antispyware use it too. They silently install it on your machine, then when you scan the machine they caught the error but due to trail limitation I can’t remove it. So you have to purchase the full version to remove it.

Does paying remove it?
If your machine is a victim of a rogue antispyware directly, I mean if it just come with other than legitimate antispyware then there is almost no chance to recover you machine by paying for their full software. Its better to use a good antivirus. Malware Byte work superbly in this respect.
How to be secure from it?
It’s better to download legitimate software from their official site or from well known resource. Softpedia and CNET Download is a great resource for freeware and shareware. Always avoid downloading file from unknown places, even from your friends. This practice not only help you to be secure from Rogue antispyware but also save you from several other vulnerability.
