Nobody love slow site. There are thousand of site around which can serve similar content so why someone going to wait at your site. You have only 10 second to make a first impression on visitor. How much time your site gives you to make a first impression? If you are not a big name then nobody going to wait at it. So you have to make a mark with speedy site and good content. A good content is useless if somebody not stay there for read. You can check your site speed using Pingdom Tools. Here are some tips which will definitely improve your site speed.

1. Linking others: Beginner tends to get a directory ranking approval and love to show there ranking. There is nothing bad on it but you have to think where should you put the link. Your site will not affected much if you put it in bottom of your site. Try to keep the outside link minimum on index page.

2. Image Factor: Try to use a theme(template) which not affect your site using to much graphics. The less you use images in index page, the better place you get on your visitors heart. If you are a tend to use image on index page on your post then it is better to use small images ( in size). Remember a broken image will take more time than an usual image.

3. Script Effect: Script needs more resource than usual html code. So the less you use it the better you site speed will. Sometime we modify out themes but forget to delete those useless script situated between <title> and </head>. So we have to delete useless script and try to keep script uses as minimum as possible.
