Sahina Tech Lite – A Free Professional WordPress Theme For Tech-Bloggers

Plot: I want to give a digital gift to my fiancee Sahina in our 3 year long relationship, so I create this theme. I also want to thank frequent power cut in my area and link drop of my BSNL broadband connection which take me away from blogging and help me to think different.
What’s Next?
I must confess, I am not a good graphics designer though my fiancee is and hope she will help me after completing her examination. Anyway next time I will try to produce good graphics without affecting the page download speed. In next release you may find some similarities with Tech Crunch and Life Hacker in term of advertising spot. Also I want to introduce comment statistic and threaded comment with an author reply highlighting ability. You also going to get an ability to show some sidebar content in specific pages.
Think you should know
1. To change the position of ‘Google Friend Connect’, open index.php and find ‘<?php if ($count == 2) : ?>’, replace 2 with your desire value.
2. You need to replace code located under ‘<div style=”align:center;”> … </div>’ with your ‘Google Friend Connect’ code.
3. To change the recent post number locate ‘<?php wp_get_archives(‘type=postbypost&limit=10′); ?>’ on sidebar.php and replace 10 with your desire number.
4. For the thumbnail images next to the posts on the index.php file, you will have to create a custom field called ‘Image’ with every post. The default size of image is ’100×100′.
5. To replace the logo, just upload your logo.gif after deleting existing logo.gif located under image folder.
This theme has been tested on WordPress 2.8.2, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3, Opera 10 and Chrome 3 without any problems. However there is a minor issue on logo show up on Firefox. That can be neglected and will be fixed on next version.

i have been working on my tech blog which is a month old but looking for a cool theme for it. The Demo link of this theme is not working but still downloaded the theme and will upload once and have a look on it
I found another site that allows submission of free wordpress themes STCFX. I guess they also offer free theme storage as well.
