Windows Movie Maker is a tool I always looking on Windows 7 when I think about editing video. It’s free, easy to use movie editing tool with lots of handy features. Though we have Windows Live Movie Maker for Windows 7 which is also free but lack of feature like DV export and a true timeline. Due to compatible issue we avoid using Windows Movie Maker 6.0 in Windows but now you can get it in Windows 7. Thanks to Windows Movie Maker Installer.

I used Windows Movie Maker before and I liked it because it’s easy to edit the video clips. But for some reason, I stopped using it because hubby started using another program for video editing. It is called Vegas, don’t know if you’re familiar with it.

The new Windows Movie Maker is great but I guess if you are looking for more flexibility and power, you need to cash out some bucks to upgrade to Adobe Premiere products

Microsoft has flakcatchers assigned to field complaints about WLMM.
Windows 7 users have been telling them they want the timeline feature in WMM2 and WMM6 restored in WLMM.
But these flakcatchers shine everybody on. They pretend to listen, but do nothing.

Oh thank, i try it and it works, really thanks, i’m so happy.:D
But i have one probelm: When i encode my movies, i can’t encode it in HD (1280*720) 720p or 1080p. I work of course on Windows 7.
Anyone has the same problem?
