Windows Aero is the graphical user interface and the default theme in most editions of Windows Vista and Windows 7 but to get this feature your hardware must meet Microsoft recommendation. One of the hardware specification is your display driver must meet Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) specification. However, if you want to get Aero effect without meeting WDDM specification then Aero Enabler will help you.
Aero Enabler is a tiny utility that can enable Aero for you and additionally disable the Hardware Check if required. It also works with Windows Vista Home Basic and Windows 7 Home Basic where Aero is normally not available.
