The recent announcement on iPad give cyber criminals a chance to make their bucket full. As we see earlier every major news catch their attention no matter it’s a natural disaster like Haiti Earthquake or anything else cyber criminals always try to brag out most and Apple iPad is no difference.
Since Apple announced when the iPad will be available to consumers, it has been one of the hottest topics circulating the Web today. People want to know more about iPad, every minor detail will be good for their tea time chat, so they move towards search engine for details and then hooked by cyber criminals.
Those heartless malicious user again use the old black hat technique to misguide searcher and take them in effected site. When a searcher drop himself/herself in that effected site, the poisoned site download of a rogue antivirus software, which is TROJ_FAKEAV.EAM.
“When executed, TROJ_FAKEAV.EAM displays a professional-looking graphical user interface (GUI) to supposedly lure users to install the software. Then it displays fake infection alerts. Should users choose to clean their systems to rid them of fake infections, the Trojan will display an advertising page, which could lead to a phishing page should users opt to buy the FAKEAV.”

avg does link checker, so i think they will catch it and make my computer safe from it, i hope.
