Firefox history is a place from where we can check which websites we visit in past. This is a useful and productive feature that reduce our time when we forget to bookmark a site which we visit earlier and forget the url now. However, this feature have some pros and cons. As this help others to explore your browsing habit. Although, there is a private browsing feature which help you to visit websites without any trace but there are sometime when you can’t use that.
Situation 1: Think a situation when you don’t want to show other that you actually tampering with browsing history to fool them.
Situation 2: When you want to show others, how good is your browsing habit by excluding offended site from history. So, when they try their detective mind on your browsing history, they just get impressed by you.
You may have your own reason but the issue is same. How we can exclude those site from our browsing history!

Here I’m going to share two tools which will help you in this issue.
1. HistoryBlock: This is a Firefox add-on which help you to block websites to appear in your browsing history. After installation, just restart your browser and then go to Tool -> Add-ons -> HistoryBlock -> Options. After that, just type the host you want to block and then click on Blacklist. You can unblock a site same way but that time after typing host name, you need to click on Unblacklist.

2. CacheFire: You can call it Firefox History Manager. It extends the power of HistoryBlock add-on. Here you can exclude sites by string. Assume you don’t want to show any game related site on history. You don’t need to add each of those websites url. Just add game or games and whenever you visit a site which have the game or games string within its domain, Firefox will exclude them from browsing history.(Download link)

Do you know any other tool or trick? We love to hear from you.
