How to create your own book through Wikipedia article?

wikipedia-bookWikipedia is no doubt  number 1 resource in online and rightly called online encyclopedia. Every regular internet user goes at least once a month there ( my opinion) and it is a treasure of knowledge for students. It gets 65,881,525 unique hits every month ( source: Compete)which show how we are influenced by it. Now what should we do to get those resources as a book to use it offline?

Their is definitely two way to achieve this goal, one is cost effective and another is free. If you need those article as a print copy then you have to spend some money but if you ready to learn those article as a PDF book or download those article as an OpenDocument text format then you can do it free of charge.

You can create a PDF copy using two way. You can use Web Page to PDF converter or you can use its build in PDF creation method. And to me the second one is less time-consuming.

Now what step should you follow to build your own Free book or Order a Print Copy?

First you need to register (free) and log in. Now you can see ‘create a book’ option on sidebar. In your first time you may need to click on ‘Book Helps’ to see the link ‘Add page to book’.

Now search pages and add this using that link. After completing all additions click on ‘Show book’ and you will get a page similar to the following.

On that page you can give your book some final touch by giving name and sub-title and adjusting page arrangement. That page also helps you to download that book in PDF or OpenDocument Text format or you can ask for a print copy to Wikipedia which will cost $14.40 (excluding shipping charge)up to 250 pages.

I create a book about Tennis Legends (Men) you can download it as a sample work here.
