It’s no doubt I am a big fan of Google but I think hackers are bigger than me. Internet is never a secure place to share information but most of us do. We are all not always aware of latest technology trend and security threat, that’s the worst thing for average internet user and even worst thing is these average peoples are biggest internet community.

Today I am going to share idea for those smart people who want to secure everything from search engine and from others except whom they want. I am putting some reason why your home server is secure.

Reason 1: Just think about image sharing. Usually we use Flickr to upload our image and share it. However the problem is whenever you upload it on another person server, you should always know anybody can view it. Sometime the image is publicly viewable, sometime need little trick.

Reason 2: Securing your file while sharing. P2P is not secure enough when you share a file and also a virus prone system. So it’s better to share the file with those whom you actually want to share.

Reason 3: Reducing your sharing time. Think you want to share a 200mb file with your full upload speed and your friend full download speed. I am sure you can’t do that securely in internet without spending cash. While you use a home server you can reduce your sharing time without spending real money.

Now the problem is creating a home server always ask good technology knowledge but thanks to Opera Unite which helping those non-techie user to create their own home server.
