Blue Screen Of Death is well known words to Microsoft users and now it have another one i.e. Black Screen Of Death. This less known error only attack Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 user. It actually an error where Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 stops responding at a black screen early in the startup process. Though the Redmond company yet not release any update regarding this error but they release a hotfix which will reduce the headache of Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 users.
According to Microsoft the possible cause of this error is, “a deadlock between a thread in Windows NT File System driver (Ntfs.sys) and a thread in the Autochk.exe program.”
