Data security always get priority not only in industry but also in our real life. That’s why we take care on our data when we are online. Remember this tool not going to save your online data, this tool definitely help you to recover your offline digital data from your PC.

First I tested 5 different free data recovery tool today and this two tool only able to get an industrial value. I tested these free tools by deleting 2 files in my computer

Recova: I really impressed by it. You can recover all type of file or some individual one without using any special query; just using option window. You can recover your data from many media. It supports memory card, Flash drive as well as Hard disk. You can enable deep scan if you not satisfied with previous result. It also states the quality of that file. I think you should try it before buying and paid tool or service.

Photorec: Another great tool for your data recovery. The DOS like environment may be scared you but it return great result. Only problem I see due to it’s DOS like environment, it don’t return any file name; instead of this it recover files and restore it on pre-specified folder. It recovers everything, unable to find any customize search option there.

Note: Above two tools work only Windows environment.

Other tested tools which fail to meet industrial standard: DiskDigger,  ADRC Data Recovery Tools, FreeUndelete.

Follow this note if you want to recover a file on it’s healthy state:

1. Stop any activity on the disk you are going to undelete files from! Remember that writing to that disk can damage the contents of the deleted files. Examples of disastrous activity include: copying files to the disk, installing programs there or running programs that use the disk as their swap media.

2. Download (or buy) and install any recovery tool

3. Run the recovery tool with proper options.
