Google Says : Get power Twitter users as followers to maximize traffic

Google LogoReal-time search is new voice of web surfers and netizen. Google and Bing both competing in this field. One of the major player in this real time search is Twitter and we have to handle it more carefully to maximize our traffic from those real-time search engine. Earlier I discuss about how to handle real-time search to earn more traffic and money but on that time we don’t aware about the key factors using which those search engines rank our articles. Now we get some information from Google and now we can extend our knowledge on this.

Google Fellow Amit Singhal, who led development of real-time search, recently explained how tweets and other real-time Web information is captured by Google search which reveal some algorithm secret between real-time search engine and Twitter.

Let see what he is saying actually:

“You earn reputation, and then you give reputation. If lots of people follow you, and then you follow someone–then even though this [new person] does not have lots of followers,” his tweet is deemed valuable because his followers are themselves followed widely, Singhal says. It is “definitely, definitely” more than a popularity contest, he adds. (Source: Technology Review)

That mean, you don’t need to have lot of Twitter followers to rank good in Google real-time search engine. You need to have some power users, someone like Ashton Kutcher or Kim Kardashian as followers. The more power users you have as followers the higher place your tweet may get on Google real-time search engine.

So, make the necessary change on your Twitter marketing strategy to maximize your profit.

*** Power user don’t mean celebrity, it means who influence others. Find people who actually tweet valuable content and whom anyone want to follow. Just experiment little bit to reveal the secret.

I can’t believe that Google is taking anything said on Twitter as being important. The majority of Tweets I’ve seen is useless, so how does google distinguish between the good tweets and the bad?
