Idea to remove Speedbit search engine integration from Firefox Address bar
Speedbit search engine comes with Download Accelerator Plus(DAP) provided by SpeedBit Ltd. This search engine is powered by Google and the company using it to earn some revenue from its free tool. While you install the software it always give you the option to uncheck the search engine integration option but as always average user never use it.
Now if you not comfortable with that search engine as it put away lot of useful option comes with actual Google search engine, you can remove it easily by using following steps:
1. Open Firefox
2. Type ‘about:config‘ on address bar and open it by pressing enter
3. Search ‘keyword.URL‘

4. Replace the value with ‘http://www.google.co.in/search?q=‘ using modify option (right click).

Followed instructions to remove speedbit. KeywordURL reads as you recommended but speedbit is still there, Any suggestions?
Thank you
