Yet another time Gmail prove why they are best. They not only think about corporate user, they also take care, their dial up internet user. Usually dial up user pay per time basis and when they log in their Gmail, they actually on dark machine. The new email in their inbox make that log in price worthy else completely loss. Now  they can save their time using ‘inbox preview’ feature which let them see the 10 most recent email in their inbox. So if they don’t see any new mail, they can close the browser and, save their time.

You need to enable ‘Inbox Preview‘ feature from your ‘Labs’ option located under ‘Setting’. Now, whenever you log in you will see the first 10 email from your inbox on login page.
