When I wake up today morning I unable to find my PC magazine. After lot of hunt I yet not able to find. So I try to find ideas to read it online free and find different way to read it but the best is using browser.

The website which targeted to read free Magazine is Zinio and you only able to read it free when you use iPhone browser. However what you going to do if you don’t have an iPhone? I found some concentrate on Safari and some with a long trick list to read it on Firefox. I make my own way to read it. Here I am going to share simple idea to read it using Firefox and Safari. This 2 I use most, I have not good experience with IE so I don’t know how to use trick there. Anyway here is my ideas.

Firefox: Download User Agent Switcher extension and install it after restart goto Tools -> User Agent Switcher -> Option -> Option -> User Agents -> Add.. -> Put iPhone on description and “Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419 (United States)” in user agent. Now when ever you want to read magazine just switch iPhone from the User Agent menu located under Tools.

Safari: Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced and check the option that says “Show Develop menu in menu bar.” Now Open the “Develop” option in the browser menu bar and choose Mobile Safari iPhone ( there are currently two option in latest version 2.2.1 & 1.1.4, both work) as the User Agent.

Now visit Zinio/iphone and you can easily read the magazine free and can download the images for offline read. This way you can read any magazine listed on the Zinio site from any country as Zinio don’t allow some magazine to read from some specific country. I think this is the simplest way to read those magazines free. If you have any other idea then please share.
