The windows registry is heart of Windows system. A single mess can make your system unstable and sometime useless. Each program and driver we install in our system will also register itself into Windows registry. Normally when we uninstall a program, the program also remove itself from Windows registry but sometime they don’t and that’s the time Windows going to get a problem. And if you careless about this, it will become huge day by day and kill your system stability slowly. So it’s better to get protected from it.

Many of us think, why we need to clean registry, it merely save few space? Well for them, I have a right quote:

Now, here I am going to list out some well developed free registry cleaning utility which allow us to scan, clean and fix registry related problem besides other thing. Additionally these tools create a backup before doing anything and have a restore feature in its working window.

Mr. Fix: Probably most unknown registry cleaning utility but very effective one. It not only clean all essential registry issue generously but also come with some pretty handy tool like uninstaller tool, startup manager, start menu scanner, system & application unused file cleaner and most interesting one is one-click registry tweaking like cheating users, make PC shutdown faster and so one. It can clean all browser cookies and unused files. I encourage you to test this registry cleaner at least once, you definitely going to stick with it.

EasyCleaner: As the name says it really as easy as you can think. Very effective and small utility to remove unwilling registry from Windows registry. Additionally it can clean IE temp files, cookies and history. You can also use it as uninstaller or as duplicate file finder along with startup manager. I really like its graphical disk usage feature besides registry cleaning.

Eusing Free Registry Cleaner: If you want to save your time and don’t willing to clean things separately then this is a must have tool. It scans and find all issue related to registry even an issue which you can’t imagine you have. It is perfect registry cleaner for you, have only one issue, always prompt you to register the product when you start. It also allows you to repair your registry when possible. If you have this then you can think a best tool in your service.

TweakNow Regcleaner: Well this is quiet handy tool both for disk cleaning as well as registry cleaning. Besides cleaning and fixing registry problem you can also use it as a good software uninstaller, registry defragmenter utility, disk analyzer, startup manager and tracking code cleaner. Well this tiny utility have all those things which you needed to get back your PC speed.

Piriform CCleaner: Well without this, this list going to be incomplete. I’m not including it because millions of user can’t be wrong, because it’s really worthy to clean your system registry and all registry related work like uninstalling, startup manager, system restore. It also has many more advance feature to customize your Cleaning. However, only problem is unlike other listed tool, it don’t have any restoring option in its program window, that really surprise me. It though creates a backup file and double clicking on it will restore your backup.

Well there are many freeware available around the internet which can do the similar job but it hard for me to test each one. I just tested 12 freeware utility on registry cleaning and choose the above 5 in respect of feature, memory use and working speed. You are free to suggest similar software in comment which I will test and will write a review here if that good enough.
