I think, we all blogger have some competitor whom we always want to track and we try several techniques to track them. We visit their site every now and then to see what they are writing and what should I write. This is actually a healthy way to take your blog in new high. For example, my blog is almost similar to another Indian blog and we both cover same niche, that’s why I try to track his blog to avoid duplicate content or duplicate page heading.

Now think about tracking them right from your Wordpress Dashboard. This technique is specially helpful for those who spend lot of time in their dashboard and for those who update their blog often.

I think you notice two RSS Feed in your Dashboard with heading ‘Wordpress Development Blog‘ and ‘Other Wordpress News‘. Do you ever tried to change it? I think that give your dashboard more value. Most of us never see that RSS, so why we not change that with something productive!

Let’s configure it to get maximum benefit. First move your mouse right side of feed title but before the sliding button. You will see a configure link. Click on it and then fill the form with your competitor RSS link and then change the title with something suit that feed. Additionally you can choose how many feed you going to see with several other options. Fill the form and then submit it and voila! You get what you want.
