Dear Anup,
I cant agree with your statement. From Matt cutt’s blog i came to know that making links nofollow cant retain link juice these days.

So far i learned, if your page contain 10 links, all your page rank point will divided into 10 part. if there are only 2 dofollow links only 2 parts will pass and others 8 parts of link juice will waste.

So i think being nofollow is an old model.

Yes Jayce, people do sell your blog name without your attention. Dofollow blog get good value. You can search in Digital Point forum, there are too many thread on Dofollow website. It hard to answer the question but there are some big blogs out there (PR7 & PR6) which still are dofollow. When you make a blog dofollow you have to check the value of all comment and you have to introduce a system by which you can protect your blog from spammers.
